Is it your goal to make more money? How is that going to happen?
Most of us did not grow up in wealth or have financial education taught at home or at public school. Some of us learned a bit in college, read a few books or watched some videos. Books are a great way to improve your knowledge. Having a growth mindset and being open to learning more about finance is important.
There is not much point in having goals unless you set daily expectations and commit to meeting those standards.
Do you know the fundamentals of finance?
What is stopping you from learning more about it?
Do you have life insurance?
Do you have a budget? If you don’t, or haven’t been able to stick with one in the past, maybe it is because you have not connected to a personal reason to make one and stick to it.
It can feel daunting to learn something new, or face the reality of your financial situation. It can also feel empowering, and help you to feel more in control. The hardest part of anything can be just starting. Keep it simple, start small and take that first step.
- Journal your feelings/thoughts about money
- Read a book, article or watch a video to increase your own financial knowledge
- Talk to a professional (make sure it is a free consult) and then talk to another
- Delay new purchases to avoid impulse buys
- Write in your journal about how you feel about the desired purchase – Why do you want it? Can you get that same good feeling from doing something else? Sometimes we buy when we are bored. Can you find a cheap or free hobby that will bring you joy instead?

- Set aside any amount you can afford if you need to start a savings account for emergency funds
- Write down everything you spend money on daily, weekly, monthly and annually
- Make and stick with a budget (This will not limit you, but allow you to take control of your money)

Anything worth doing takes practice. As you learn about finance, you will need to implement that learning to see results.
Caution: Don’t risk more than you can afford to lose by gambling or falling for get rich quick schemes.
Money is not everything, and will not make you happy, but it is also not the root of evil. What is your mindset about money?
💗Wishing you Amazing Love & Financial Freedom
